Why do you think cunt is considered a bad word?
My gf, who doesnt swear, reckons it no worse than fuck, that they are all equally terrible. But saying cunt in mixed company gets a stoney silence and looks of horrible recimination.

either words have meaning and connotation, or they don't. You can't disclude nigger, wop and spic just because you find them offensive.

All words carry the emotion of the speaker as well as the information the word represents. That's why cunt is offensive. But you can make "mother" offensive if you said it right.
