Personally, I've never ever smoked a cigarette. Lung damage from pneumonia put me off.

Early change over this week.
My first cigarette was one of a pack of ten Regal bought in the little newsagents in the corner of the Rhiw, the indoor market in Bridgend. My friend and I spent ages trying to work out who looked older before eventually going and, oh so nonchalantly, buying them before running away giggling like the schoolgirls we were.
We hid in the little tucked away alley out the back, and spluttered our way through one between us. Neither of us liked it much but I think it was already too late for us both.
The next one was better. And the one after that. I've stopped and started four or fives times in the intervening years, and now I have started smoking again - stressful time and all that - and will undoubtedly give up again. But not yet...
