Chinese bakeriesA couple of years ago, I went on a business trip to Taiyuan, China, where I was hoping to secure a very lucrative deal with a company called Yuen Bakeries. Everything seemed to be going extremely well, until we were invited to inspect the impressive machinery. As I was leaning over to peer into one of their large mixing machines, I lost my balance and toppled right in.
No harm was done, as the machinery was switched off, but it was very embarrassing being an Occidental in Yuen dough.
