This is a QotW answer The ignore facility.
Well, it's rubbish isn't it. People can't see what you're posting. Can we get rid of it please?

EDIT: Also, please fix the search bug I reported last month :(

or someone tell Pasanonic that he's a right self-important cunty who thinks he's above it all, when in fact he's clenching his teeth while posting about how none of this is getting to him.

Someone who has a list telling people who they're ignoring in his profile is a massive cunt, right?

That way the thread was still there, but we could selectively ignore.

This is too open to abuse - I often post in reply to flowerpot just out of pettiness, so that she cannot read the subsequent replies.

The whole concept of ignore is you DON'T see selected posts. Don't like it? Don't use it, and hope others follow suit. Personally, b3ta would be intolerable without it.

I don't have anyone on ignore and tolerate b3ta quite perfectly.

I suppose it's due to the weird condition I have whereby the words of strangers on the internet don't make me cry.

This is a QotW comment How about a Hate facility instead?
So on the Hatee's profile it says "You are currently being Hated by 7 people".
Also an "I Hate This" button, which does exactly the reverse of "I Like This". There could even be an Unpopular page, and Hatee of the week.

It's good to Hate.
