my bro's mate spent about 6 months rolling the spliffs for them when she first qualified, then got a job with one of the big name pharmacies and actually dispenses proper drugs now

with these "methadone spliffs" of which you speak. Are you sure your bro's mate isn't taking the piss?

dunno how they do it, she had to be taught. it's the way the controlled it in their pharmacy as there was less chance of it being sold on i think

but I just can't see the logic in that. The bioavailable dose would be so variable as to be uncontrolled.
Even when it's supervised, some of the hardcore cases are prone to vomiting it into a plastic bag and selling it on to someone even more desperate. I had one in Kirkcaldy who obviously didn't swallow his methadone, so I followed him to the window and watched him walk away with his pregnant girlfriend. He looked around to see if anyone was watching, then leaned over and "kissed" her (passing it into her mouth).

and i saw her more often i'd ask her, but i dunno enough about pharmacology (see none) to know how it works
